Hi,
Yeah it seems a little excessive…..
Have you tried to check the render settings in your timeline settings window?
Also how many plug ins, if any, do you have on your video?
If everything is native you should not have any issues.
Before you started the new project did you do an easy set up?
I can’t think of anything else, I hope it helps.

Hi,
Could you please tell me how you can export AIF mono files? I have tried and they’re still 2 tracks and I have a timeline with 6 audio tracks, 2 stereo but the rest mono. What am I doing wrong?

I have 1tb for render only, the other 3 with material on it are a little over 50%-
I shut down, turned the HDs off, turned them on again, restarted the G5….and it was fine. I really do not know what it is….I also have an extra FW card so not to create a power vacuum.

Hi,
I still have QT 7.1.6 on my mac cause last time I updated to QT 7.2 it had some issues and I had to do a re-install of FCP and QT.
I was wondering if any of you with my same Mac specs has updated to this new version , and if so what issues if any have you had. I know that there’s a FCP 5.2 out but I don’t have it probably cause I haven’t updated to the most recent QT.

when I said on top I meant above. Now if I have 2 text layers I am trying to fill. shall I bring in another texture and place it below the text? I have tried it different ways way but I can’t seem to retain the color nor the shadow of the text.
I am probably confusing you-sorry.
