    Hi All,
I have heard of quicktime files with 4 audio channels. I saw something here but I didn’t quite get it.
I need to export in as many audio channels as possible for the audio guy that is mixing my movie.
    Any ideas?
    thanks

If you’re audio guy will accept an OMF, that’s totally the way to do it. OMF not only keeps the each track separate, but it also keeps each audio clip separate. This makes it much easier on the audio guy.

OMF’s do have a size limit, so if you have a long film then export your tracks in batches by turning them on or off.

From your timeline, Export > Audio to OMF.

Or Audio to AIFFS, setting each channel to be a mono rack or part of a stereo pair.

    All the best,
