I’ve managed to assign different materials to the bevel face and extrude by inputing values in the selection tab of the texture tag.

I’m trying to achieve the text effect on this spot, to be more specific, the bounce:

Can anyone help me in the right direction? Please..

Here’s what I’ve got so far.

I’ve managed to link up the rotations right but by parenting the camera to a null with the expression:

    lookAt(thisComp.activeCamera.position,postion)[0]

on my CC Sphere layer’s rotation properties does not seem to work. It only responds to when the camera’s position/poi is adjusted. Can anyone help? here’s the file so far:

seems like the layers are not sitting on the sphere..they are sliding a little..

maybe the layers parented to a null and rotated on it’s own at the same speed of the sphere??

    hmm….

I’ve just tried out turning the keyframes into bezier, but it didn’t seem to work. Here’s an uploaded image of the jagged path I have.

    Hi Roland,

thanks. I would love to pick up a few courses or two to enrich myself. See that there’s a course coming up in December. Meanwhile, I’ll experiment with what was suggested, trying to extract out some mattes from my footage.

Oh..I’m working on a 720×576 DV PAL (1.07) footage, exported with the avid codec at 25 fps. My main issue is it seems like ants are crawling over the hair of the subject. I’ll try multiple color keys to get rid of other dark spots on the subject.
