Sorry. Guess I was unclear. I’ve seen posts on how to create dotted paths on this forum but instead of dotted paths, I’m looking to create dash lines that form the path, instead of circles, rectangles. However, I need to move it along in a 3d space.

Thank you all for the replies. Greatly appreciated. I’ll try the puppet tool and displacement methods.

Just to add on, I’m currently using 3d layer warps version 1.3. It seems to be rendering very slowly although I’m running on a quad core. Does this product support multi processors?

    Hi Jon,

I used the layer warps comp camera. I tried using the file without precomposing and adjusted the camera settings within and got it to be sharp. Think I got the camera position wrong causing the blur. Thanks for offering your help Jon, much appreciated.

Scared me off at first when I saw the large chunk of expressions. I precomped a rotated and scaled solid as a particle then tried using particular with custom particles. Worked out good. Thank you for your help Kevin. It is much appreciated. I’ll be trying that out.

    Hi Tom,

I would not pass a chance to learn any new stuff. I’ve haven’t got the opportunity to try echospace yet, this may be the time. Would you mind sharing how would I go about doing this?

    Thanks

Thanks. How do I go about setting up the normal pass in max? I checked around but couldn’t find similar terms.

what do you mean by interpreting my footage wrongly??

Here’s what I did, I digitised the footage from a DV camera to my pc using Adobe Premiere. They are windows media files. Perhaps my object has picked up some green spill from the screen. It is blurry and a slightly transparent. Any solutions?? I did not change any settings in Keylight besides “Screen Gain” & “Screen Matte > Clip Black”.
