Hmm.. well.. The Decklink HD Extreme 3D has two channels. SDI A and SDI B. Interesting idea. Not sure if it’s possible though. Food for thought!

I did a few tests too, on friday. It’s almost like I want to encourage clients to deliver their projects like this. Smaller files, less to take care of, just “plug-and-play”, time and money saved.

But how is your data transfered to the video monitors? Is it internal software RAID or external and hardware?

Thanks for the heads up on this issue, both of you. I’ve been asking myself “isn’t here a solution for things like this?” Resolve comes more to life every day. Can’t wait to show this feature to clients !

You can assign the Wacom buttons, yes. I have not done so though.
You program the buttons on the ShuttlePRO2 just the same way as you do with the ones on the Wacom. Select which button does what shortcut combination. Example, SHIFT+T or CMD+1 etc.. Just look at what shortcuts are available for the different tools, and assign them to whatever button you’d like. 🙂

I use only a Wacom and a ShuttlePRO2 to do the things now. A Wave would help a lot on my workflow.. If you don’t want it, I’ll give you my address. 😉

I use the ShuttlePRO2 to access shortcuts like Add Node, Add Node + Circular Power Window, Next/Prev Clip, play, Track forward, Track backward, etc.. And I have two buttons for Add Version and Next Version, so I can toggle between the versions quickly.

A Wave + ShuttlePRO2 would be a killer for my sake, until I can afford the Resolve panel. So, how about it? Keen to make a sale? 😛

I didn’t have any equipment or screwdrivers with me, so I couldn’t really see a way to pull a calbe through there. But I’d be surprised if it’s not possible.

I have until 1400h today before I have to attend a meeting. Slow times for color grading it seems… I’ll check out if your idea is possible, Margus.

Btw – where are you from? Never met anyone else online having the same surname. 🙂

Good point. Good idea. I’ll see if I can dig out the handyman in me tomorrow. 😉
