Open your original project / go to File / Merge / and navigate to your other project-file…
or open the Content Browser / right-click the project and choose Merge…

Well, if the line is horizontal (flat) you might have given the Start- and End-Position the same values…?
(key-frame Start 0%, End 100% or vice versa)

Either select the key-frame in the Timeline-bar and in the Attributes under Key Properties change the Interpolation to Spline, or uncheck Auto Tangents and type in your desired values, or open the Timeline window, select Align to Spline, select the F-Curve-Symbol, select one of the key-frames, and adjust the handles to your liking, or if you’re still in Linear mode, right-click the key-frame and choose Spline…

In BodyPaint select your Layer / go to Filter (top menu-bar) / Blur / Gaussian Blur /
Apply your desired Radius / click OK…

Uncheck the HyperNURBS object / select the bone you like to weight /
from the Character panel select the Weight Tool / start painting your body /
hold down the control-key (Mac) to unpaint…

Well, works perfectly here… (make sure to check “Animate Preview”)
Movie files put a lot of “demand” on the system… (have you rendered your file out yet…?)
You might consider using an image sequence instead of the movie file…
(much gentler on the system and much better preview-replay in the viewport…)
