    hi there,

I am quite new to this is a basic question.

I am building an architectural scene in c4D. I modelled one object in another scene because I thought I can see everything better when the scene is empty. It is a bunch of splines covered with a Loft Nurb. So I actually have a Loft Nurb Object with some sub-splines within.

Now I want to copy/paste it to my original scene. But somehow I cant get it over. How to do it guys?

    thx

Open your original project / go to File / Merge / and navigate to your other project-file…
or open the Content Browser / right-click the project and choose Merge…

Merge will do it, but copy/paste should work too. If you really want to be slick, use an instance object that references the second scene. That way, if you edit the object in the other scene you can update it in the main scene automatically.

thanks guys, ‘merging’ and today also ‘copy & paste’ is working. The other day it just was not pasting into the new scene.

copy paste is more flexible though cause you can select, what to use actually.
