I generally advise against filters for DV unless you are in need of a specific creative effect. They can reduce available light and reduce optical resolution- two things already in short supply with DV.
I have no doubt such a camera will appear eventually- sort of an SDX900 for DVCPROHD. But ifyou’re looking for one with 24p I don’t know of anything official yet.
It must be a DLT directly controlled by DVD Studio Pro. Try it. Also give the replicator a call- they may be able to loan or recommend a suitable DLT drive.
I’ve seen a lot of these “I hate hollywood” type movies- typically featuring a ragtag indie film crew trying to steal their film back. And often filming themselves in the process. Chris Gore devoted a chapter in his film festival survival guide to how tired festival programmers are of seeing these movies. They are usually characterized by weak acting and silly scripts. Now is this a response to Hollywood or an imitation?
There’s also the AA, BB, _CD_ field settings to play with in CT. With those included there can be quite a few different combos to experiment with before resorting to AFX.
