I have a Cavision matte box. Looking for advice on the best filter (or filters) that would give me the most “bang for my buck”. I’m shooting a documentary consisting of interviews and primarily indoor b-roll (little to no outdoor shooting). Advice?

I generally advise against filters for DV unless you are in need of a specific creative effect. They can reduce available light and reduce optical resolution- two things already in short supply with DV.

I use a 1/4 black ProMist on almost everything I shoot and it’s amazing. Once in a while I’ll use a UV filter as well, but the 1/4 black is a staple in my rig.
