That would be more an issue for your NLE- most, like FCP will have no problem offlining DVCPROHD onto whichever SD codec you need.

It won’t make it more 24p than it is already but you can use MB to do creative color correction if that’s what you meant.

Could be dirty heads- try running a head cleaner. Or increase your shutter speed.

Simple answer- use one remote control and aim at both cameras to reset their timecodes at the same time and then record in free run.

How exactly did it look like VHS? Sounds like you have your settings messed up. You should be using he DV-NTSC Easy Setup unless you’re planning a filmout.
