Focus / zoom controller?
Any suggestions and/or pros and cons for a focus/zoom controller for a new DVX-100B? ZOE? VariZoom? ProZoom DVX? What controller, for example, seems to have the best ballistics in terms of ramping into or out of a zoom?
The Stealth DVX Varizoom seems promising, but are there other units that also integrate focus that owners can recommend?

None that integrate focus have been released on the market yet. We should see at least the VariZoom previewed at DV Expo West; perhaps others will be ready by then too.

Interesting… I just found on the Panasonic site that they sell, as an accesory to the DVX-100B, the Rock DVX ZF1 controller, which has focus, zoom, start-stop record, and iris control…

This is the Varizoom controller. We put that up on the advice of Varizoom, and they are now promising delivery at the end of December.
