RESULTS! . . . screening a 24p minidv movie with high def projector
Hey everyone!
Just wanted to let you know how the screening turned out . . .
we shot our movie 24p with the panasonic dvx100 and projected it off of a mini dv, through the deck s-video to the high def projector . . . amazingly and thankfully it looked beautiful . . . no need to upconvert just yet! most likely it wouldn’t have looked as good with any other projector . . . but it gave me the confidence that I could make a stunning feature film with this camera no problem . . . however, if anyone has an extra $70,000 laying around for the projector, let me know

Definitely- with a good projector you can get gorgeous results. Pays to seek them out.
