I used this export method and then output an avi from AE after color correcting it.

    Thanks for the tips!

    Sorry about the language.
If you don’t mind asking one more question:
So to get the highest quality video for broadcast would I would send a video dvd that had been created with this method?

    Cheers!

So there’s no solution outside of a green screen?

That’s cool cause this is just a test (obviously In the real footage I’ll be making that gesture under a waterfall).

But seriously is this a bad shooting method for the desired effect? If so, is “time difference” the best way to get the overlays?

    Cheers!

  • It works great. Thanks for saving the day. But why does it work?

    Like in:
    [position[0],thisComp.layer(“Audio Amplitude”).effect(“Left Channel”)(“Slider”)]

Is it [position[0] that isolates the y axis? How would I isolate the x axis?

    Thanks!!!!

    Cheers!

  • Thanks guys for your time!

    I used this one:
    [position[0],thisComp.layer(“Audio Amplitude”).effect(“Left Channel”)(“Slider”)]

For my own edification. How would I change this expression and make it effect the y axis?

    Cheers!
