Laying video of the same location
I’m trying to layer these videos

https://backseatconceptions.com/marv_test/marv_test_1_bg_noise_2.movover this video and have the video of the man in black (me)
https://backseatconceptions.com/marv_test/marv_test_1_bg_hero.movlook sharp and defined while the above layers are semi transparent and blurred.
I’ve done it using the time dif effect and the difference matt effect which were linked to this still
https://backseatconceptions.com/marv_test/bg.bmpBut too much of the BG data comes through and it looks bad.
Any sugestions?

So there’s no solution outside of a green screen?
That’s cool cause this is just a test (obviously In the real footage I’ll be making that gesture under a waterfall).
But seriously is this a bad shooting method for the desired effect? If so, is “time difference” the best way to get the overlays?
