Hey, just built a new PC with Production Suite Premium. I have Athlon Duel Core Processor and a motherboard that is capable of hold 4GB of RAM. Thus, I maxed out my RAM with 4GB. However, when I right click “my computer” and click “properties”, my computer is listed as only having 3.25 GB of RAM? Any reason for this?

Windows XP currently has a limitation of 2gb, unless the 3gb switch is enabled.

If you have 4gig mem with the 3gig sw set, windows can reserve up to a gig for the kernel and executive components.
