I don’t understand Sony’s approach to including a competitor, Hitfilm, in their suite. Hitfilm itself also offers editing. Sony has always been very strange with always using external plugins and programs to Vegas. ie. ProTitler, Cinescore, and now Hitfilm. Can’t they integrate this stuff into the Vegas app, so you don’t always have to launch and switch between apps? Can’t Sony develop their own compositor instead of including third party like Hitfilm?

so this is 6500k. but is it dimmable, and if so, does it maintain close to 6500k? If not I might as well just go with LED lights that are 3000k and be done with it. On other video forums, it looks like no editors/colorists actually use the correct color temperature lighting at work. They just work with what they have in a dim environment.

I have AMD (OpenCL) graphics card which is not working in Vegas. I have contacted Sony Support and they are currently reviewing logs to get a fix. Multiple people with AMD graphics are having issues, not just me. They are looking into it now and when I find out more, Ill post here.

This combination would render just fine and fast, if Sony would get their act together to support OpenCL correctly. The GPU renders1080p with several effects, faster then real-time. Plus I have another x16 slot to add another card. Unfortunately Sony is behind the times with SLI mode too and doesnt support it, as far as I know.

Options -> Preferences -> Display tab -> uncheck “Use Vegas color scheme”
This will then use your Windows color scheme. -
Here are the supported youtube formats. Typically I think H264 (progressive) and AAC audio is recommended. I’ve used the Mainconcept “Internet HD 1080p” template and that works.

Yes, I do have a contour shuttle pro and use it. Still would like to have a dedicated keyboard too. Perhaps some sticky key labels would be best to use with my current keyboard?
