Yupp, like Jeff said, Encore does not support anything than plain WinXP 32 bit. Any attempt of installing it on another OS is bound to fail.

[ponyack] “anyone know what I can do to solve this error.”

What are your project specs? Resolution? Number of layers? Pre-compositions?

February 3, 2007 at 6:46 pm in reply to: Auto-trace limitation?

In case the other’s suggestions don’t apply, check the number of masks that are being created. There may be simply too much and the aoto-trace cannot add any further masks.

Pre-compose the reflection with the wipe.

[jimbucc] “Are there any additional render or comp settings in AE to make this work correctly?”

The problem is not AE, it’s your edit suite. Since the overall size in pixels is the same, you need to flip a switch somewhere in Liquid to make it interpret your footage as 16:9 instead of 4:3.

Restart AE and try again. There are several quirks/ bugs with AE’s clipboard handling, but usually it works and only conks out sporadically.

[Jason King2] “but when you set the camera to follow that new spline path it always starts where the two are joined together.”

No, not really. The align to spline tag just doesn’t update properly. ;o) Anyway, if you are ever having problems, use the shift up/ shift down/ reverse tools for splines. Should solve all your problems.

C4D does not support external referencing. When you merge a model/ scene, all items contained in the imported scene, they become part of the new scene. Modifying the former separate scene will not update the models in the merged scene, you need to import again and delete the old stuff. Since you are working in C4D, keeep your spaceships as C4D files. To avoid confusion just for the life of it take good care of your naming.
