  • 2 splines into one continous spline for a camera path

Is there a way to take two or even 3 different spline paths join them together to create one spline path that the camera will follow? I know you can take two splines use the join segment and then weld them together to make one spline, but when you set the camera to follow that new spline path it always starts where the two are joined together. I would like to take a straight spline attach that to a curved or S-shaped spline and create one continous camera path. Is this even
    possible?

    Thanks

Select 2 or more splines and run Function/Connect then select pairs of endpoints and run Stucture/Edit Spline/Join Segment. Use an Align to Spline tag for your camera on the resulting spline and animate position from beginning to end . It should run the entire length of the spline. You may need to assign soft interpolation to the joined points to get a smooth camera move.

No, not really. The align to spline tag just doesn’t update properly. ;o) Anyway, if you are ever having problems, use the shift up/ shift down/ reverse tools for splines. Should solve all your problems.
