Try creating a new folder next to the original and changing the folder in Preferences. Is there plenty of space?

1. Looks like fields showing on edges of bright areas. Try deinterlacing the footage. What speed do you have the slo motion set for?
2. Pro recognizes alpha channels automatically. Exporting stills from PSP begins with a new document with a transparent background and then the “Save as” setting must include a check next to Alpha Channel and 32 bit resolution. Try saving as a .psd. -

Move the Magic Bullet plug-in folder to the en_US folder.

VBR= variable bitrate. The first pass is simply an analysis of the video, determining where more bits are needed and where less will do fine. Then the encoder makes the calculations based on the first pass, the target (4mb), minimum and maximum bitrates and does the encoding on the second pass.
4MB should only be used on movies about 105 minutes using PCM audio or 135 minutes using Dolby audio. Higher bitrates should be used on shorter movies….see the chart on my web. -
What equipment are you using to record the audio? (I hope it is not casette).
How do you convert and burn it to a CD? -
Try rebooting the PC and then open Pro project and try to burn it. I have read that other buring apps hijack Pro’s burning drivers. Also make sure no burning apps are running in the background. On your desktop, Click Start>Run and enter msconfig. Choose the Start Up tab at the top and deselect ALL, then apply and restart your PC and try again.
BTW…the .m2v and .wav files that the Media Encoder produces are elementary streams that most DVD authoring app want as assets. -
Yes, a blank disc in your DVD burner. The quality will be fine if you will choose the “NTSC DV 4×3 high Quality 7MB CBR 1 pass” preset as the Encoding Preset.
The disadvantage of this Pro process is that you cant do a menu/chapter thingy, but it does not sound like you are ready for that quite yet. -
The .m2v and .wav files are elementary streams (video + audio) that DVD authoring apps use as “assets” to author a DVD.
Pro can burn a DVD from the timeline by chooing File>Export>Export to DVD. Have a blank in your burner first. -
Even with your impressive hard drive arrangement, you problem may be due to poor playback of audio preview files. This can be due to these files residing on the same disc as video files. Short term workaround would be to export a .wav file of you entire timeline. Export that file to a disc other than the one that has source video or video preview files. Put this wave file on your timleine and turn off original audio tracks.
