    i have a short movie i encoded through premier pro into mpeg2, and it gave me 3 files.*.m2v *.wav and *.m2v.xmpses
    what do i do with thesse files now?

    The .m2v and .wav files are elementary streams (video + audio) that DVD authoring apps use as “assets” to author a DVD.
    Pro can burn a DVD from the timeline by chooing File>Export>Export to DVD. Have a blank in your burner first.

    what does it mean to have a blank? do you mean to insert the dvd?
    would the quality of the dvd be good, or should i use a difrent program than premier pro?

    Yes, a blank disc in your DVD burner. The quality will be fine if you will choose the “NTSC DV 4×3 high Quality 7MB CBR 1 pass” preset as the Encoding Preset.
    The disadvantage of this Pro process is that you cant do a menu/chapter thingy, but it does not sound like you are ready for that quite yet.
