Just a though, but did you ever think of trying the Sound Forge demo for your studio?

You got me scratching my head for sure.

Have you tried using ‘Track-at-Once’ instead? And are these audio tracks DRM free?

I use Sony Sound Forge Pro 10 for most of my audio work and save as uncompressed WAV, but I still use Nero ROM that supports multiple burners using DAO/96.

Try stopping the Windows Indexing Service and disable any anti-virus software running.

If the ‘muted’ CDs are in fact burned, the only thing I can think of is that the subsequent ‘muted’ CDs are not being “closed” properly.

Can you see the tracks using your file manager (right click on CD drive, then ‘Explore’)…does the file layout look the same as the first working CD?

Have you tried disabling your Windows Autoplay? (before burning)

I’m still using Vegas 10, but you might try updating your video card driver first. I’d then do a RAM check (memtest86 – it’s free) to rule that out.

Since ver.11 is so new, it is very possible it’s a bug.

On the main screen check to see if the subtitle track is active (activate track), and choose ‘english 1’ as the track language.

In the project properties, under Initial subtitle track, select 1.

You can also try a different brand of DVD media, and check if there are any driver/firmware updates for your burner.

I have had similar audio problems, mostly with the sync. What I do is render the video/audio file as an uncompressed AVI file first, then do my editing and effects work with the new file and then render out as .mp4 or compressed .avi.

If the file continues to have problems after converting to uncomressed AVI, then your original file may be broken.
