If your project is 24p then you are better off shooting 24pN. You could try shooting at 36,48 and 60fps. If you shoot 60p you would have to re-conform that footage to 24p anyway.
While we are on the topic….
If you have the ability to shoot 24pN at 60fps with the HVX why??? would you ever want or need to shoot 720 60p???
I understand with the VariCam you have to shoot 60p to achieve better slo-mo but shooting on P2 why would you want to shoot 720 60p?? -
I have been happily shooting HVX200 P2 and editing with 17″ PB on the road.
I get plenty of editing accomplished while in the airport and while flying. -
What do you need to deliver?
Of course you know shooting 720 60p will only give you 4 min on a 4 gig P2 card.Shooting 720 24pN will yield 10 min on a 4 gig P2 card.

If you have a PC try Raymaker from dvfilm.com
you can import just the .mxf files.
I have to do this with files that get sent

Why did you shoot 60p for timelapse?
Not necessary. You are better off
shooting timelapse 1080 30p
set the camera to video cam
Then you have a little larger
frame to work with and conform
the 1080 30p to 24p using CinemaTools.
The 60p mode is really for shooting
fast sports with the option of

I don’t know. Most PC software will read a photojpeg.mov you just have to render.

The broadcasters here have accepted my BetaSP spots.
Most of the spots I have done the last few years
have been with the DVX100. I have the HVX-200 now
and I can tell you the quality is much better
