That’s right Rick. The good news is that the audio render is very quick.

If this is for an SD DVD, you need to render your video as an mpeg-2 file and your audio as either a WAV or AC-3 file. Give both the same name and render them to the same folder. That way when you load the video file into DVDA the audio file will automatically follow. The bitrate used will depend on the length of your video. If it’s less than 70 min. I use a custom CBR of 8,000,000. Anything longer and I use a bitrate calculator to determine optimum 2-pass settings.

Change the extension from .mp4 to .mov
For example, myvideo.mp4 is changed to myvideo.mov
That’s all there is to it. -

While it was written for Vegas 10, things haven’t changed that much so I suggest taking a look at it for some help. -

Add the Timecode FX to the preview window and your entire project will have it, no matter how many video tracks you have.

All FX have timelines that can be keyframed.
What version of Vegas are you using and what FX are you trying to apply to it? -
Ross, Waves plugins are up to version 9 so an update is surely in order.

I’m not a Waves user so I have no idea if this is going to cost you or not.

My mistake Zack. Pro 11 was available in 32 bit but you needed either Vista or Windows 7 to run it, not XP.
You can download the latest version of Pro 11 (32 and/or 64 bit) from the Sony page.
