Pro 13 is up to build 453 so I recommend downloading and installing it and then see if you still get the crashing.

Grazie, in the first post he said I have a cd which it’s size 600 mb and duration 1 hour. That sounds like a VCD to me but until we get a reply it’s only a guess.

Is it possible that this is a CD like Tayfun said and not a DVD.
If it is indeed a CD, it could be a VCD or SVCD. -
This is an old reply by Stephen Mann (who has posted extensively on this issue) but certainly still valid, even with the latest version of Vegas Pro.

You need to apply the effects to the events (what Vegas calls a clip) while it’s in the project media tab. As you already found out, you lose everything you apply on the timeline.

No one is saying that you have to duplicate it.
Download it, study it to see how it was done and then create one or more of your own. -
As long as you capture it in DV-AVI (the native format), the quality should be the same with both programs as all you’re doing is transferring digital data from the source tape(s) to your hard drive.
Once you get the footage into Vegas, then render it out in MPEG-2 and AC-3 formats for DVD authoring and creation.
If you have less than 70 minutes of video, I always use a custom MPEG-2 template set to a CBR of 8,000,000. Anything longer and I use a VBR with settings determined by the use of bitrate calculator. This has been discussed here numerous times so a search will reveal the proper techniques to use.
Use the default AC-3 template.
Render both to the same folder and give them the same name. That way, when you go into DVD Architect, load the video file and the audio will follow automatically. -
Odds are that whatever media is at the 42% mark is giving you problems. Substitute a different piece of media and see if you still get the crash.
The other issue is the WinSxS fault module.
I googled it and found numerous references to it.

Use the J K L keys. J is reverse, K is pause and L is forward. Pressing the J or L keys more than once speeds up or slows down playback. 1, 2, 4 & 8 times as I recall.
