Hello. I have a cd which it’s size 600 mb and duration 1 hour. I need to edit it and add an intro to start of the video. How do I edit it and render? I think render time will be a few days! How is long videos, cd or dvd videos edit in Sony Vegas please? Thanks…

[Tayfun Dur] “Hello. I have a cd “

A CD is the Platter. What is it you have on it?

[Tayfun Dur] “I need to edit it . . “

    What?

[Tayfun Dur] ” . . .and add an intro to start of the video. How do I edit it and render?”

You import the media onto the Vegas Timeline and Edit it. You create an Intro and render the finished piece.

[Tayfun Dur] “I think render time will be a few days! “

What is the Media? What FXing are you planning to add? And what do you want to render it to? Where will the finished product be used for?

    Grazie

Whatever you have to edit from a CD, is not gonna take few days to render.
Plus most of what you are asking doesn’t make sense!
You first however have to extract the contents from the CD, then drop it
on the Vegas timeline to start editing.

You will need to import this into Vegas.

What type of files are ON the CD. We know that they are a wedding, now we need to know the type of file.

Is it possible that this is a CD like Tayfun said and not a DVD.
If it is indeed a CD, it could be a VCD or SVCD.

[Mike Kujbida] “Is it possible that this is a CD like Tayfun said and not a DVD.”

Who said it was, Mike? As to your 2nd part, until Tayfun provides us with further info we are kinda lost and could be guessing for a long time.

Grazie, in the first post he said I have a cd which it’s size 600 mb and duration 1 hour. That sounds like a VCD to me but until we get a reply it’s only a guess.
