Download it, study it to see how it was done and then create one or more of your own.

Here’s one pretty simple way. I just used solid colors to demonstrate. There are three tracks. 1. Video track; 2. text track; and 3. text background track.

Here are the steps.

1. Create a negative mask in your video track which essentially cuts a hole in your video track enabling lower tracks to become visible.

2. Create a png file which contains the text you want to animate. In Photoshop, I created a 100 x 6000 pixel image and then simply typed in the text. I’m sure other image editing programs will do the same.

3. Add a third track which is simply the text background. This can be be another video, solid color, gradient, etc.

4. And fourth, make the text move by simply panning across the text image. The pan/crop window at the start should look something like this.

Using keyframes, you can easily control how quickly the text moves.

I’m sure there are many other ways of accomplishing this, but this seems to be a pretty simple one. Good luck.
