    >Oh yea, I keep forgetting that some people are using Vegas 64-bit (not me). Yup, lots of stuff doesn’t work in 64-bit mode (which is why I don’t use it).< Not Yet! It is limited to what you can use, but it should all catch up. At least you would think so...In the meantime I used a post-it note with 64 bit written on it and stuck it to my desk. Thanks again, John

I installed them and like I say the filter folder contains them, but the program does not…New blue trials went right in. These did not

How do you get the Mike Crash filters into the Vegas program. I downloaded a couple and see they went into there own folder within Vegas. Looking to get them in the FX menu.

    >Did you use the built-in scene selection menu?

Yes, I did. I will keep note of your cut and paste method for future projects.

Thanks for being there, John. I can certainly appreciate your expertise.

I can certainly understand the toll the day job does to your time. I have been laid off for quite awhile which is allowing me to get back into this stuff somewhat.

I really appreciate the efforts of all of you there in the Creative Cow Vegas Forums. I got my project to where it is ready to mail. I will keep all of this great advice and help for future reference as I feel my way around the program. Things are much easier as it goes. Just a matter of of seeing what things do. I found myself digging too deep into the manuals and looking at tutorials on things I am not quite ready for yet. However, in time I hope to gather valid training materials from those who have been around the block a few times with the Vegas program and especially the support from all in here.

    Thanks again,

Thanks so much, John! My mission has been pretty much accomplished. I got the project to play start to finish and I can go to the scene selection menu and play the chapters. The only thing is that they don’t stop at the end of that particular scene. That is OK, I guess. I missed something in the details, but I am happy with the result.

    Thanks again,

    Mike H

Yes, I imagine it would pay off. If I had the funds I’d have all of the training discs. You make it sound so easy… I was following guidelines from Mike K for getting scenes into a menu. The block of text in the link are those guidelines.

Let me understand what you are saying about the yellow markers.

Just drag the yellow begin and end marks to the beginning and end of your chapter and be done with it. It that for each chapter or just to play the whole video? Will the chapter buttons be automatic?
