Probably too many of us trying to get on at the same time.
Both the Sony site and the webinar site are currently down 🙂

Mike, I don’t think there are too many of us trying to access the site. I think the problem lies with those who are putting on the webinar. Very unprofessional. Super buzzkill.

A total waste of 15 minutes. This is how Sony promotes its products?

Erik, their recent seminar “The New Economics of HD” had no problems at all so I’m not sure why there’s a problem today.
Needless to say, there’s a LOT of very disappointed users out there right now.

Do you think it will be on at all today ?

“Erik, their recent seminar “The New Economics of HD” had no problems at all so I’m not sure why there’s a problem today.”

I’d say there is a huge difference between the two offerings. Today’s session is right to the heart of what every user wants…simply to get better at using Vegas. Maybe even learn a new trick.

I spoke with sony support and they said it had not started yet; just keep refreshing the browser. Also, they confirmed it would be recorded and archived although it might take a few weeks.

I took the day off from work to do this. His words were only mildly soothing.

From a user on another forum who was able to get in:

Problems with servers. Presentation will last 30 minutes, Q & A after. Content will be available for download.
