Thanks John, I finally got it to go. I made numerous attempts today and for whatever reason it didn’t want to install. Went as far as uninstalling both only to have the installation fail message. Anyway I hope it is worth all that. It looks like a very capable program when reading the online help pages.

I thank you once again. You know it is very much appreciated.

thanks Jeremy, I tried to take it in that way. It goes in but does not work. No big deal. I’m done struggling with it. I’ll use what i have until maybe Boris gets a 64 bit application for the program.

    Still burning, Mike

No, Theo. I see a Graffiti 5.0.dll file within the Boris FX Inc folder. I didn’t go any farther. I got the warning about opening the files. Told the web to see what program to open them with and got a list.

Thanks Danny. I know I did this before, but for the life of me I couldn’t remember how I did it. I went into search thinking that is where I found how this is done before. Went from confused to lost. Must be a keyword thng. I applied your reply to my notes. Thanks again.

You can’t even get people to watch on the special interests forums you belong to. I am finding that the shorter the piece the better.

Thanks John, that was painless enough. Now to figure out what to do with it, lol. Is the CineForm in the list in Vegas 10 the one we read so much about?

John, Here are the screenshots. I set the Ram higher so it wouldn’t crash so much. As it is the preview is excruciating slow

Thanks John, Danny and Juan. I went to the Nvidia site and got the update for the drivers. There was a lot of updates on it between then and now. I talked to the local computer guru here and he said he saw no problem with going to Nvidia to get them. If worse camr to worse I could go back to a restore point. In the meantime I should freshen up my computer knowledge some to stay on top of it all.

Anyway, it s seems to have helped somewhat. I still wish i could see the previews in real time. I have not tried to repeat what I did when the problem showed. Other commitments took me away for awhile . I’ll report on the results when I get them.

Thanks again. This truly a wonderful forum with truly wonderful people.
