Rendered titles?
I rendered out some titles with BCC Extruded Text. When applying the renders to a new timeline I can’t get the footage to show underneath. Where did I go wrong or was I wrong from the start to do it this way. I was looking to save some render time and eliminate the possible crash.

Render as AVI, (Default)uncompressed, click custom and at the bottom check render alpha channel. Uncompressed only.
Then when you import it back to the timeline, right click on the video event on the timeline and click properties. In the media tab, set alpha channel to Straight (unmatted). You should now see your background video, and the transparent part of the event on the timeline will be checkerboard. Hope this helps, Dany Hays -
Thanks Danny. I know I did this before, but for the life of me I couldn’t remember how I did it. I went into search thinking that is where I found how this is done before. Went from confused to lost. Must be a keyword thng. I applied your reply to my notes. Thanks again.
