I posted that link but didn’t try it but it jumps you to the page to the update for FCS2. Man I’m a company man to a fault but this is just wrong. I understand the 5.0-5.1 being discontinued but this is just wrong.

very good review indeed, very balanced. I would agree with 99% of what he writes. I disagree with his reason why the back space button is placed poorly, I keep hitting it by mistake.

I can see leaving my laptop home a lot and that it why I wanted this thing

There are still a couple things Steve should have called me about but they are pretty minor

The keyboard correct is scary it works so good

if you buy one watch all the video instructions and ads and you will be up and running in no time

I need a program like Scopebox.com (there is another one that is cheaper but I cannot remember the name). This also gives you scopes

You cannot capture anything but DV25 to FCP unless you have product.

What is not available is the upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1.anything. As long as you have 5.1 you can upgrade.

I never used web on verizon but I have tried to get account info and it was so slow to use.

This was posted with the iPhone.

I got one – just went to see how long the line was in Nashville and it was moving so fast I said why not? Took a total of 15 minutes to get in line and walk out with the phone.

Well I have fixed feelings about it. I never had email on my phone and that is the main reason for getting it. That seems to be working really well, I cannot believe there is no bcc – I would like to send a bcc to an account set up just for sent iPhone emails without anyone getting a hold of it. (reply all kind of problem)

The biggest disappoint is the Map directions but that is because I use Verizon’s navigation which is almost as good as a true GPS. And I use this thing all the time – cost me an extra $10 a month.

the Edge network is really slow for surfing. Bluetooth works great. I thought it had iChat built in but it doesn’t, my misunderstanding. The text program looks like iChat the messages staying in one file and in bubbles.

It was easy to set up and I transfered my Verizon number and that will take 24hrs to switch over – you have full use of the iPhone and all the features while I wait, other than being able to receive calls.

The manual is over a hundred pages so I still need to figure somethings out.

The image is great, I don’t have the best eye and I can read text even when very small, totally blown away by this. You get the hang of typing very quickly. In an hour I was doing okay. Has a spell-corrector feature that works most of the time.

So my main complaint is with the driving directions not being a turn by turn voice thing, “prepare to turn right in .1 mile” but I suspect that what it has will be an upgrade to most people.

Email on the road is going to be nice. Overall I’m very happy with it. Hopefully the improvement will be software and we can upgrade the phone like we do the computers

10 bit maintains quality so it is good to use over dvcpro50

Had to send something on my new iPhone 🙂

sounds like this is more of a file corruption issue. As a practice I also keep the raw P2 files on a drive. Without that it is like capturing a tape and then throwing out the tape when done.
