  • Correct firewire output for HD mode?

Posted by Nelson May on June 30, 2007 at 3:52 am

I am trying to get my G4 to see 1080 via firewire into HD monitor pro. The program can see SD without a problem. When I power down and flip the switch to P2 mode, I can’t get a signal over the firewire into my G4. I am set at 1080 which HD monitor pro uses.

Any thoughts. I am new to HD, but not SD and am still wading though this camera on the HD end. Let me know if I have a menu preset wrong.

    Thanks.

I need a program like Scopebox.com (there is another one that is cheaper but I cannot remember the name). This also gives you scopes

You cannot capture anything but DV25 to FCP unless you have product.

If you do not have the DVCProHD codecs installed on that G4, I don’t believe HD Monitor is going to work with that codec.
