that makes no sense to me.Mixing these cameras is tough. Unless you have to stay in HD it would be better to downconvert the HD footage to DV. Blowing up DV to HD is not a pretty or quick thing.
Also you should be using ProRes and not ProRes(HQ) for your HD clips.

BluRay disc can be made with the newest version of FCP7 and Compressor 3.5

that is just the square version of the resolution, since video is not square FCP converts it to video pixel aspect ratio. If you need to keep it in that PAR and resolution you need to work with a graphic program like AE or Motion.
You could force it to be square by making the sequence settings square and 1024x but your performance will go out the window and I don’t think video out to a monitor would work unless it got rendered.

the size is related to the bitrate used and as to the software used. Compressor and other software can get better or the same quality at lower bitrates. There are also several version of mpeg4 H264 being the most common. For that flavor there are software encoders that will allow for lower bitrates and higher quality. Episode being the favorite these days.

seems like crossing the 50 MB marker is where things get out of whack. Do you multiple sequences in your project file? You may want to try duplicating the project file and making a master project and strip that down to the barebones. For my ETT (although this is kind of a thing of the past for me) I normally export as self contained movie with current setting so I can make an ETT project with slates and tones and the solid movie.

If image skewing is an issue for you stay away from DSLR. Every camera will have it. But as Noah said, You need to shoot within its means and you are will be okay. Every CMOS camera will have this.

Did you shoot 24p or 24pA, are your clips coming in as 23.98 or 29.97?
There is nothing to deinterlaced cause your footage is already progressive. If you shoot 24p and have 29.97 you need to remove the pull down.
As far as SloMo, you can try using Motion it will do a better job if you render with best (optical flow) settings on. IF that doesn’t work look at some 3rd plugins. FCP by itself doesn’t do a good job at all.
