Are you sure that the original render in Combustion was done progressive? There are no settings for progressive because the project type itself will always render and export progressive by default.
If it is a bug, what version are you running?

Have you tried selecting the seqeunce and the master clip at Dv25 and doing a relink by timecode to selected clips?

That’s not a problem. just make sure the capture settings don’t have the “capture resolution as logged” checked and recapture as DV 411 (25Mb/s).

Sorenson Squeeze, for encoding to MPEG2, WM9, Real, etc. DVD authoring and some other things I can’t recall right now.

The Xpress Pro software is exactly the same, what you won’t get are all the third party application that come bundled with the retail version.

There should be a button called “banks” or “switch banks” that will get you to the other 4 set up view (in your case only two will have picture). Look on the command palette.

When selecting a 23.976p or 24p project, you are truley editing at those rates and the capture process reverse telecine’s the NTSC footage on the fly.
You cannot capture 30i material and edit it in the same timeline. If you are going to mix frame rates, you will want to be in a 30i project type – the 24 frame material will have pulldown in it preserving the “film look” while allowing your interlace, progressive, and frames rates to be edited together.
You can mix NDF and DF in the product with no problem, you just can’t have the same tape name when capturing have both NDF and DF.

Hmmmm…. I don’t know what to say – that was my shot in the dark. I only work in progressive so I don’t have any more suggestions. Let me check around.

Make sure you have the proper setting for upper or lower field for the encoder you are using. I am assumning these are 30 frame/60 field interlace sources.

If you have a Mojo, it allows 1:1 uncompressed SD.
