The 16:9 displays with a very small amoount of letterboxing on the 16:10 monitor. This is how it is set up on the L2335. 720p has a 16:9 aspect ratio.
SD appears a pillarbox, there is always the interlace to progressive issue to deal with as far as quality is concerned since you get a lot of field blending as well as the very small anount of lag because of pixel refresh.
As long as the LCD is connected your CPU, it can have drivers to calibrate. If not, you are on your own with just the on board controls.

Track the 3 perf in the KN Start and the 4 perf in Ink Number configured as 4 perf in the film/24p settings. This gets easier in Xpress Pro and Adrenaline post 2.0/5.0 versions.
In FilmScribe, do a pull list as per usual practices, but include both the KN Start and Ink number in the options. You can only have one type of running footage count, but the numbers will be correct for each format. Where the footage is 4 perf, the KN Start will be blank, but there will be values in the Ink Number field and vice versa.

That is a version limitation. Lists are fine but you cannot see KeyKode metadata above monitors or subclips. This was completely rewritten for Xpress Pro and Adrenaline and can now be displayed everywhere – just like 4 perf.

The Avid doesn’t use clip names for relink. Try the relink by resolution in the relink menu.

It can’t read ABVB media, but it can read JFIF for the supported resolutions:
15:1s and 1:1 (with Mojo) for interlace
14:1, 28:1, and 35:1 for progressiveMichael

It does ingest DVCPRO 100 over FireWire the same way it does DV25 and DV50. You also output the same way. It handles both the 23.976p and 59.94p formats. You can also capture 59.94p in a 23.976p project to create a 2.5x slomo when played back.
It does not support variable frame rate (other than 59.94) at this time.
Xpress Pro HD supports the editing of DNxHD formats but cannot capture them, perhaps this is what caused the confusion.

Avid products only use Avid hardware. The Mojo is the hardware designed for Avid Xpress Pro and is an SD I/O device only. The Mac will have FireWire HD I/O support in an upcoming release.

You can transcode your DNxHD files into any supported resolution in XPress Pro:
DV25, 14:1, 28:1, and 35:1.
