So this would be a full version of Vegas 7 + DVD a4? I guess I thought the upgrade was a lot more. I was going to try v6 since it seems like 6 has a lot of improvements but if I can get 7 and the DVD 4 upgrades for 149 it seems like a pretty good deal! Thanks.

Thanks for the help. As it turns out it was the media. I was using dvd – r and after using dvd + r to record to it worked fine! I have made copies before onto the dvd – before and never had a problem. I guess you can copy to them, but not burn to them? Anyway problem solved and I appreciate your input. Have a great weekend.
