Just as I think I’m getting the hang of pan/crop and trak motion I realize I haven’t a clue. Is everything on a time line affected by using trak motion, but only the clip you’re working on is affected with pan/crop? I have several pictures on a clip and want to zoom in on individual pics with pan/crop. That worked ok, but then I used trak motion to move the pic to a certain part of the screen. Now when I play back my project, film on that same trak placed earlier on the trak is out of place! If I need to do something with a clip using trak motion do I always need to put it on a separate trak? But pan crop can be done individually? And is there a way to turn off the pan crop or trak motion once you turned it on and go back to the start point of the clip so there isn’t any pan/crop or trak motion. Sorry for the length. Thanks.

Track motion will affect everything on that track. Naturally you can add additional key frames and return it back to “normal”. Pan/Crop works only on that one individual event.

Sounds like you did everything correct except adding the necessary keyframes to move the track back to “normal”. However, you might find this workflow easier: ADD MORE TRACKS. Then you can put those images which need track motion on their own track and the stuff that doesn’t need track motion can be left alone on another track.

Yes there is. If you have more than one keyframe, delete the additional keyframes. Now select the first keyframe, right-click Pan/Crop or Track Motion image, and choose the option to reset back to default.
