upgrade question
I see where B & H has vegas 6 without architecht for 99, and now I see where Sony is offering Vegas 7 + DVD 4 upgardes for $149 if you buy by Oct. 31st. I currently have Vegas 4.0 + DVD . Is the sony offer for the complete system, and if so is there a down side? Is upgrading difficult (as in any glitchs I should know about) Thanks.

the 149 is good for the V7/DVDa4 package …

enter your V4 serial number and you get the V7/DVDa4 deal … -
So this would be a full version of Vegas 7 + DVD a4? I guess I thought the upgrade was a lot more. I was going to try v6 since it seems like 6 has a lot of improvements but if I can get 7 and the DVD 4 upgrades for 149 it seems like a pretty good deal! Thanks.

You can upgrade to the FULL version of Vegas 7 + DVD for $150 even from Vegas 4. It’s a great deal. No need to mess with getting Vegas 6 elsewhere.

I went to Sony site and they have me there. However they are asking for $234. for an upgrade from 6.0 to 7.0. Is a link you can provide? Thanks, james

thanks to ed I was able to find it on their site. However after I enter my version 6 serial number, it kept changing the price to 249.95. I finally called and did a phone order at 149.95….
