Tricky. A shortcut might be able to select filters in a folder, but how would it know the clips to apply it to? If you manually pre select the clips, then it takes very little time to do the drag/ drop or paste attributes, so what is the advantage?

If all your stereo files are on the same track, you can center the panning for all the clips on those tracks. You don’t have to do it clip by clip.
Also a stereo wav file should be interpreted by FCP as a stereo file. It is not the same thing as a polyphonic wav. The alternative is to convert the stereo wavs to two mono files before importing into FCP. The tool in Jeremy’s link will do that and more.

Open folder, select all filters, drag and drop to clip or pre selected clips.
The filters will apply in the same order that they are in the folder, so make sure the order is right, This can be done by renaming the filters so they sort alphabetically. You can add a 1,2,3 to the beginning of the names to do this.
When I grade in FCP I have lots of grade folders set up to do the drag & drop

SD or HD? Is Anamorphic ticked in your sequence settings? How are you getting out of FCS2 – SDI to tape or Quicktime movie?
What are you pixel settings on the quicktime conversion? How are you monitoring? Although you say you have tried everything, you give us almost no information to guess what you are doing.

If you are editing an HD project then you will need a card (AJA, Decklink etc) to view on an external monitor, which also will need to be HD.
I wouldn’t want to edit any HD format, particularly RED without a decent external monitor so I would say yes to card/monitor. However, FCP will let you edit without a card.

From you post tile, I am assuming the tapes are Secam. Either way the first thing a Google search brings up is this link – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SECAM which shows Russia is Secam.
Secam, a PAL variant, is 25 fps so it won’t be possible to capture them via firewire or analog into an NTSC project. My advice would be to have them professionally converted to NTSC onto new tapes that you can capture.

Firstly, converting the files from 44.1 to 48 is best. Don’t let FCP run with the 44.1 files. Forget the dub to DV route. Waste of time and it won’t solve the problem.
You didn’t mention the frame rate your video is shot at but frankly that shouldn’t matter. The drift must be poor crystal sync between the devices. Does the file need to stay in sync for the whole 2hrs30mins? Crystal sync over this time duration would be extraordinary. Basically you have two unreferenced devices relying on their internal accuracy.
Best bet is to calculate the drift over time and then work out a varispeed ratio that will get the two into sync. ( you can do this with a calculator). The vari should be applied to the Sound Devices audio files and an audio tool, not FCP would be the better place to create new files with that varispeed.

You’re joking right? If you want to use this camera, then work at 30 and do a proper standards conversion to 25 using outboard hardware.
