yeah, i guess that was an edl. it is a sort of solution but veeeery veeeery poor one. you will loose all your effects, settings etc. edl is only a text info which in simple words says vegas which file to take as an input and which part of it where to put on a timeline
That is exactly what i want, all the source file is synched to audio on the time line but no editing has been done. He outputed an EDL file and I tried opening it in SVP11 but it didnt do what we wanted and I am not sure what we did wrong.
We both have identical source files and file structure

end file size depend on if it is HD and length
SVP10 & 11 have internet recommended options under the sony mp4 menu and i would use those. you can further compress by going into the custom options and lowering the bitrate.
I have found that 720p hd footage looks decent at 4mbps and the default is 8mbps

unfortuneately SVP11 doesnt have a 1080p50/60 option for output so the best you can do is:
XDcam 1280×720 60p or 50p
or one of the AVC 1080 options at 30p

you could also take the outputed mp4 back into SVP and see if the audio peaks synch properly with the rendered video (as compared to the project audio peaks)

i didnt see a white flash at 4:40 so i guess you meant 4:46
try rendering to mpeg2 or xdcam and see if the problem repeats.
also you didnt mention what output setting you used but again i had to assume you used mainconcept avc mp4

i got over a minute into this video and didnt see any white flashs…maybe im just blind.
But to answer your questions I havent experienced what your talking about.
