Blade all would be to cut primary storyline and all connected clips / secondary storylines (layers) at the playhead.

Cmd + B will cut either your primary storyline or the selected clip at the playhead.. or at the skimmer location if skimmer is active. You can skim over any clip to find your cut point and hit cmd+b to make the cut.

Drag And Drop From Finder To Keywords In X Is Good. Also, Import Folder Names As Keyword Collections Works. If You Add Media To A Folder And Reimport The Entire folder With The Folder / Keyword Option Selected, Duplicate Clips Are Not Created. It Only Imports The New Files Into The Already Existing Keyword Collection. At Least This Is How It Went In 10.0.7.

you might have to do replace edits (if fcpx lets you) with your original clips inside the angle editor. if that takes more time than recutting 30 minutes.. i’d start over.

Is it possible the clips are in a secondary storyline? If so, you need to command option click the storyline, as the clips don’t connect, the storyline does.

I haven’t used .dv in FCPX, but did you take a look inside your event folder in the finder?
Go to:
Your Volume > Final Cut Events > Your Event Name > Transcoded Media > High Quality Media
It’s possible FCPX optimized your media and you didn’t even realize while it happened in the background.

Put your music in a secondary storyline. It keeps it in one lane and eliminates multiple connection points for your music “track.” Is there a downside to this that I’m not realizing?

Does breaking apart the CC and then reforming them clutter your event up with a bunch of old and extra compound clips?

Hey, not in front of my system now, but I’m pretty sure you select your sequence, select file>export>media, then select the mpeg preset for your desired use. Customize if you need to.
