  • Plural Eyes 3 –> FCP X… which media files? Proxy or High Quality?

I have 2 hours worth of concert video shot with 4 cameras, and an audio mix from the sound board, that I tried to sync as a multicam clip on FCPX, with poor results. I then tried Plural Eyes 3 and it worked perfectly. HOWEVER, I pointed Plural Eyes to the Proxy media from my events folder, synced, and exported to a FCPX multicam file, which imported perfectly in FCP.

Now I have edited about 30 minutes of the video already, and I think I realized that the multicam files I am editing in FCP point to aliases, which in turn point to the PROXY files I loaded into Plural Eyes, even though FCPX is set to use high quality files for playback. Is there any way to point them to the HIGH QUALITY files without re-doing all the edits?

    Thank you.

you might have to do replace edits (if fcpx lets you) with your original clips inside the angle editor. if that takes more time than recutting 30 minutes.. i’d start over.
