Hi Chris.
Topher is correct. You can Save your scene in the Invigorator and the Open it up in ProAnimator.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Select your Invig layer in After Effects and open the Invig Set-Up window for that layer.
2. Type Cmd+S (Mac) or CTRL+S (Win) to bring up the Save dialog box. Save your scene.
3. Create a new layer or solid in AE and apply the ProAnimator plug-in to it. Create a New Scene.
4. Open the ProAnimator Set-Up window and type Cmd+O (Mac) or CTRL+O (Win) to bring up the Open dialog box. Open your saved scene.Everything you saved in the Invig will be placed into a single ProAnimator Track, ready for animating.

Hi Gary.
OpenGL reflections are mapped differently than with the software renderer. The graphics card, in some part, determines how reflection maps look.
If the software renderer is working for you, I’d suggest accepting the time hit and take the better quality.

Hi Chris.
ProAnimator animation is done differently than the Invigorator.
When animating the camera, you have two choices:
1. Check the “Use Comp Camera” checkbox and use AE’s camera tools.
2. Uncheck the “Use Comp Camera” checkbox and use ProAnimator’s controls and tools within the ProAnimator interface. You can get to the ProAnimator interface by clicking on the “Click To Edit ProAnimator” button in the ECW.Let us know if you have more questions.

February 6, 2008 at 9:23 pm in reply to: Draw Distance Limit / Z-Clipping in InvigoratorHi Justin.
There isn’t a way to change the clipping distances at this time.
Scaling down your scene is probably the best way to move forward.Matt Rhodes

Hi Susan.
We support most TrueType and Type 1 fonts, but not OpenType fonts.
You may be trying to access a non-TrueType font. You may want to look for a TrueType version of the font.

January 30, 2008 at 9:17 pm in reply to: Reflector Flakey — not updating despite script….Hi Brian.
Thanks for the thoroughly descriptive movie.
It seems that you’re using another object to control the camera.
Reflector’s Update uses the keyframes/values from the camera,
so I’m thinking that there’s a problem grabbing the camera info.
You may have to directly set the camera keyframes in order to
get things to work.Would you mind sending me your project? I’d be happy to take a look.
Send the .aep file (that should be all I need) to: matt@zaxwerks.com
Thanks.

January 30, 2008 at 6:02 am in reply to: Reflector and Invigorator using Comp Camera: Limitation??Hi Brian.
Make sure your floor layer has the same aspect ratio as your Invig layer — which should have the same aspect ratio as your Comp.
Unfortunately, when those don’t match, skewing can happen.
Let us know if that helps.

Hi Bill.
I’m not sure how the shine was done — but it’s likely a combination of the specular value of the material and a subtle reflection map.

Hi Bill.
He didn’t do the effect with Reflector. He probably faked it in the Invigorator by having a second set of objects below a transparent floor. This is a good way to fake reflections.
This is one of the problems that Reflector tries to solve.
Feel free to send me your file if you’d like for me to make some suggestions.
Thanks.
