  • Reflector and Invigorator using Comp Camera: Limitation??

Posted by Brian Charles on January 30, 2008 at 12:16 am

When I use the Comp Camera in Invigorator then create a floor and apply Reflector to it the reflection is skewed. I have “Hide 2D Layers” unchecked.

Turning off the Comp camera and updating Reflector shows the reflection in the correct perspective.

Is this a limitation of Reflector? Or am I missing something?

I couldn’t find anything about this in the documentation.

    Hi Brian.

Make sure your floor layer has the same aspect ratio as your Invig layer — which should have the same aspect ratio as your Comp.

Unfortunately, when those don’t match, skewing can happen.

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks for the info. I may have read this somewhere but had forgotten.
