    Cant Use Many Fonts – Printer Font is Missing

    Have Pro 4 on XP.

    I have maybe 35 of my 75 Fonts that will not work with Pro Animator 4. It says that their Printer Font is Missing. These Fonts DO work in Word and In After Effects.

    I searched for a thread on this… but the threads ended without a resolution.

    Anybody else ever overcome this issue? Thanks for your help and suggestions.

    Hi Susan.

    We support most TrueType and Type 1 fonts, but not OpenType fonts.
    You may be trying to access a non-TrueType font.

    You may want to look for a TrueType version of the font.

    I have had the same problem and was getting very frustrated. At least now I know that there wasn’t something wrong with my system.

    Anyway, here’s a link where you can download a free trial of a font converter. It will (supposedly) allow you to convert open type fonts to true type fonts. At least you can convert the fonts you have now for free before the trial ends.
