Looks like it may be a Kernel Panic, which in most cases a reinstall of the OS is recommended. Got that info from this link :

Just to update…..
If anyone else is having this issue, the customer resolved his problem by updating to the 191.66 driver (the latest) from nVidia.

Whoops, sorry bout that. Thought you mentioned contacting support but now that I re-read the post I definitely misread the first time.
Anyhow I think ruling out the hardware is a good thing so do that and let us know.

Did Avid support have any ideas?
I know it’s a pain but I would try removing all hardware to make sure there is not a conflict.

I think everything Avid just got squished down to this one forum.

I’m not sure then. Have you tried deleting settings? Namely the MCState and creating a new user.

Can you promote individual effects via the Effects Editor?
There may be a corrupt effect in there, could be anything.
Have you tried reinstalling Sapphire or MC? Are you using the SubCap effect by chance?

It shouldn’t.
But if you’re worried, to be safe, just pull the file out to your desktop. Relaunch Final Cut and then see if it acts better.
If it does you know that was the issue. If it doesn’t and it ruins your text you can replace the old file back.
Give it a shot and let me know.
