    Kevin,

    Here is what I found:

I looks like the baseline locks to the “center” of the text block.

So 1 line of text centers your text on the screen. 2 lines of text will push your first line up from the center base and your 2nd line below.

You can change the baseline in the text editor window or simply by using the position X/Y controls in the filter.

I tested this back to FCP 5 and it works the same there.

I’ll run it by Boris / Engineering to make sure this is expected behavior but I believe it is.

    Kevin,

I’m going to try to reproduce this now.

To be safe can you send me a copy of a test project file displaying the issue.

    My e-mail is mattm@borisfx.com

Definitely sounds like a codec issue.

What version of MC are you using? What is the codec of the clip your importing? What is your version of Quicktime?

You can monitor HD…there are limitations.

depending on the codec you are working in you may not be able to monitor HD in full quality.

Unfortunately Boris FX will not have a booth at NAB this year.

There is no ETA for a release.

BCC 7 will offer 64 bit support as well as the next generation of the Red products (Red, FX, Graffiti).

AS for now Vegas will require you to run in 32 bit in order to use Boris products.

Try renaming the OMFI Media Files Folder on that drive by placing an “x” or any other character at the beginning.

Does the crash still happen or not? If it doesn’t you have either corrupt media, database files, or the folder itself.

  • Thanks John! I’ll keep you posted.

    Steven,

I’m sorry but the filter is not supported for any version before AE 7.
