    Any word Michael?

I also want to let you know we identified a similar crashing problem running 2 graphics cards in a machine.

If your crashing problems aren’t resolved this is something to look at.

I’m really not sure what the problem is.

If you save out the program, compress it, and e-mail it to me (mattm@borisfx.com) I can take a look.

The media would also be helpful. You could send it via yousendit.com.

April 21, 2010 at 8:48 pm in reply to: appying an effect to multiple or range of clips

One thing that has changed somewhere along the line is adjusting the clip speed in TimeFX. In earlier versions of Media 100 when I selected a clip in a timeline, changed the speed and applied, it would change the clip in the timeline – very convenient

I don’t recall this but I haven’t been around Media 100 as long as some of you guys.

Basically the issue is though, that the Time FX is going to change the duration of the clip if you applied directly to the timeline.

You could try deleting the FCP cache files.

To do so go to the “GO” menu in finder and choose home. Then navigate to Library> Preferences> Final Cut Pro User Data. Trash the “Final Cut Pro OBJCache” and “Final Cut Pro Prof Cache”

    Peter,

Can you send me a project displaying the problem?

I can take a look at it.

Theo, that is correct. The next version of Red is planned to have 64 bit support.

    Dave,

The first step in troubleshooting is to trash the BFX preference file.

Navigate to C:/ Windows and locate the Boris FX 9.3.ini file.

Trash this file and let us know if any of the issues are resolved.

Try deleting the preferences for Title 3D. The preference file is
    named “com.borisfx.Title 3D”.

It is located at: Macintosh HD> Users> > Library> Preference
