This is interesting as other customers have reported this fixed with the latest update.
Are you running on a mac pro with dual monitors?
Could you please try, as a test, removing one of the monitors and let me know if the problem persists.

Get info on the drive by selecting it on the desktop and hitting command+i.
In the sharing and permissions section highlight your user, make sure you have read & write permissions then click the gear icon at the bottom. This should allow you to set ownership of the drive.

What OS version are you on?
If it is Snow Leopard you need to make sure your mac user is set to be the owner of the drive.

Check the Media Creation settings and confirm that you don’t have the drive you want to use filtered out

Update your unit.
I double checked and we have updated the Chroma Key as well since it contains the Chroma Key Studio.

The update was for the BCS shaders filters.
If you own the shaders unit, re-download and install the trial version.
It will read the licensing already on your machine.
If you are running another unit it is not necessary to upgrade.

I’m looking at this again this morning and I see the same thing on your video as I do here and this looks like the expected result.
You are using the smooth function and there is still some movement and you are seeing the interlacing that is present even before the filter is applied.
You may want to try using stabilize as opposed to smooth.

A 2nd partition with a different OS wouldn’t cause an issue.
The only thing I can see wrong is the OS version you are running.
