April 27, 2010 at 3:04 amThanks Matt for the communication about this update.
It should be mentioned that this update also fixes the problem of the BCS effects not working with only one graphics card and two monitors. That was my experience on two systems.

May 4, 2010 at 5:42 pmDoes this update also apply to customers who bought a plug-in as one “unit” instead of buying the complete set?

May 4, 2010 at 6:03 pmThe update was for the BCS shaders filters.
If you own the shaders unit, re-download and install the trial version.
It will read the licensing already on your machine.
If you are running another unit it is not necessary to upgrade.

May 4, 2010 at 7:17 pmOk, well the release notes also said the update included an improvement to the matte choker which is a plug-in that I use with the chromakey unit. Just looking to stay up to date, thanks for the info!

Update your unit.
I double checked and we have updated the Chroma Key as well since it contains the Chroma Key Studio.
You can get it here: https://borisfx.com/register/download/esd_CKunits.php?id=1654172

May 4, 2010 at 8:18 pmThank you for checking, I will upgrade.
I’m actually having a big problem with the chroma key unit in FCP that a reinstall did not cure, but hopefully this update will. If it does not cure what ails me look out for another thread… 😉
Thanks,
Phill
